Silver and Brass Om Bracelet
This heavy silver bracelet features the sacred mantra, "Om Mani Padme Hum" in raised Tibetan script. This bracelet is a little larger and heavier than the other one, and the lettering is gold-finished brass. "Om" is a sacred sound of no fixed meaning; the mantra translates, "Om, hail to the jewel in the lotus." The jewel is the Buddha. There is beading and decorative silver work beside the script. Not the base-metal bracelet sold for a couple of dollars, this is marked .925 silver. 13/16 inch wide, adjustable diameter.
