Gurkha Knife (khukri)
The reverse-curved knives of the Gurkha soldiers have turned the tide in many historic battles. When their ammunition is finished the Gurkhas draw their knives and charge the enemy, more often than not causing the opposing soldiers to flee in terror. The "khukri" is a piece of history and a first-rate example of craftsmanship. This is the standard-issue Gurkha knife, from Chainpur, Nepal where the finest blades are made. Wood handle, steel blade, brass cap. Sheath is wood and leather. Small blade and sharpening stone included. Overall length 15 inches, blade 11 inches long.
